Tuition: Session fees are payable monthly and in advance. Students may also sign up for a 3-month payment option at a discounted rate. It is the responsibility of the student and/or parent to make sure that payment is made at the first lesson of each month. Please be advised that no lesson will be taught that has not been paid for. Payment for the month in full is due at the first lesson of the month, no exceptions.
Attendance: Students are expected to maintain a regular pattern of attendance regardless of preparation. Make-up lessons will be given for excused absences only and cannot be guaranteed. Each student is permitted one reschedule per month, and must be taken within seven days of the missed lesson. No call/no shows will not be refunded. Reasonable accommodations can be made for other situations on a case-by-case basis. Students who arrive late for their scheduled lesson time will have what time remains.
Any lesson that must be missed by the teacher will be rescheduled as soon as possible at a time most suitable for both parties.
Holidays: In a month when a student’s regularly scheduled lesson falls on a holiday or observance, the student has the option to either have that lesson rescheduled within seven calendar days, or have their monthly lesson fee prorated. Students that have selected the 3-month payment option must reschedule the lesson.
Minimum Age Policy: Vocal technical training is a complex “athletic” activity that requires a certain level of maturation and muscular development to gain satisfactory results, and prevent damage. Vocal technical training in this studio recommended for those who are at least 14 years of age. Individuals who display a comparable level of vocal maturity at 13 may be heard and accepted on recommendation of high school choral director or at the teacher’s discretion. Students 12 and younger are encouraged to begin with general music instruction if they wish to study and are not already involved in other music lessons.
